We are the Alexander family (Jared, Shana, Alivia (11) and Anden (7)) and we are getting ready to go on a family adventure only God could orchestrate. We are a family that loves people and looks for ways we can serve others in our families, in our neighborhood, at our schools, through our jobs and around the world. We have a heart for serving and being a voice for people living in poverty. We work hard and we love adventure. And that is why we are incredibly excited (and somewhat nervous) to fulfill the call that God has placed in our lives to move to Nicaragua and serve with Amigos for Christ. We have been traveling to Nicaragua with Amigos for Christ since 2010 and the love we have for Nicaragua and its people is difficult to put into words. We are honored to be able to work beside the people of Nicaragua. We will be joining the Amigos team in the fall of 2017 and look forward to nurturing the partnership Amigos has with our home church Crossroads and Compassion International. Thank you so much for partnering with us on this journey, we are blessed to have you on our team!
In addition to any financial support you are able to give, we ask for prayer. Specifically, prayer for God to prepare our hearts for all the changes that come with moving to another country and culture. For God to continue to show His power and provision in ways we cannot predict or imagine. And that over the next year, we continue to seek our Lord's guidance daily in the kingdom work He has for us here in Cincinnati.
We LOVE boldly and fiercely. We LOVE unapologetically and without fear. We LOVE because He first loved us.
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 1:6
